When we first took on this project, the property was a neglected former music shop, dark, dated, and far from suitable for residential living. The layout was disjointed, the interiors were tired, and the space lacked warmth, light, and flow. Structurally sound but visually uninspiring, it was the kind of building most would overlook, but we saw its potential.
Our goal was to completely reimagine the space, taking it from a forgotten commercial unit to a high spec detached home in the heart of Binfield. From day one, we knew this would be a full transformation, not just a renovation.

Following an extensive transformation, this former music shop is now a modern, beautifully finished detached property in the heart of Binfield, Berkshire. We carried out a complete overhaul of the exterior and structure, including a new roof, full render, and a double storey side extension to maximise space and flow.
The home now features brand new windows, a relocated main entrance, and a thoughtfully designed layout that blends style with practicality. Every element was planned and executed with care, turning an unloved building into a warm, welcoming family home that fits seamlessly into its surroundings.

This once tired space has been completely transformed into a stunning, modern open-plan kitchen and living area. With sleek cabinetry, stylish feature lighting, and high-end finishes throughout, it’s now the true heart of the home — bright, functional, and perfect for everyday living or entertaining.

This area was a blank canvas mid way through its transformation, exposed floors, unfinished stair structure, and an overall lack of character. It served as a functional transition space but needed a complete design overhaul to become a welcoming entrance worthy of the home.
After
Now a true showstopper, the hallway has been completely reimagined with a beautifully finished staircase, feature lighting, and warm, neutral tones. Stylish details, wood effect flooring, and bespoke balustrades make this space feel both grand and inviting, the perfect introduction to this stunning property.

At this stage of the build, the rear of the property lacked any real identity or connection to what would become a standout feature inside. Behind these plain doors was an empty, underutilised space with no clear purpose. The area felt cold and lifeless, a blank canvas ready to be transformed into something special.
After
This once empty space is now a stylish and inviting bar area, perfect for entertaining. We replaced the original doors with sleek black framed sliding glass doors, flooding the room with natural light and creating a seamless flow to the outside. Warm wooden flooring, ambient lighting, and a carefully planned layout give the space a premium, relaxed feel, a complete transformation from what was once a forgotten corner of the property.
